Dirang is a small and splendid looking hill station situated in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh at an altitude of about 5000 ft. Its spectacular surroundings make the travelers fall for it, and its flora and fauna are so diverse, that visitors find a real treat for themselves. Hot Water Spring
Hot Water Spring is located around 3 km from Dirang town. According to the locals, this place is beneficial for curing certain diseases due to the rich Sulphur containing in itself. The renewed Hot Water Spring is more relaxing to take a dip and revive yourself.

The Sangti Valley puts a touch of natural splendor to every visitor with its superb surroundings. The valley is a symbol of heavenly peace, and this area congregates variety of wildlife, out of which, the most prominent is the black necked crane that migrates from China during the winters. Other attractions are the sheep breeding farm, fruit orchards, and rice field cultivation.

Mandala is a birding hotspot, where bird watchers are found visiting & looking for some rare birds. Located around 30 km from Dirang, this place is a home to around 300 species of birds and other wildlife. You will find rare & elusive birds such as Wards Trogan, Temmicks Tragopan, Golden Naped Finch, Fire Tailed Myzornis, Red Crossbill, Beautiful Nuthatch, Himalayan Cutia, Spotted Laughingthrush, Blandford’s Rosefinch and many more.

Sela Pass is a high altitude mountain pass where visitors can enjoy the fascinating beauty of the snow-covered mountains. This place is usually covered with snow around the winters and early spring. Sela Pass is located around 60 km from Dirang, and its elevation is about 13, 700 ft, which is also the home to Sela Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes of Arunachal Pradesh, and is the gateway to Tawang district.

Thembang is the fortified heritage of the Monpa village and a gateway to several ancient and historical structures. It draws most of the attention for the fortified Dzongbuilt using the traditional techniques of the region. Thembang village is itself a monument due to its richness of heritage structures. This place is located about 2300m altitude and is located around 20 km from Dirang.
